Galaxy S4 Ant+ with Strava

does anyone know how to get a Samsung Galaxy S4 to pair with a HRM and cadence sensor in Strava?

I know both are working as my Garmin 500 can see both and I can pair to both with Endomondo, but Strava won't seem to let me do either.

I would like to think Strava would be compatible but if I'm wrong let me know.

Cheers.

I suspect your heart rate strap is ANT+ compatible and the Strava app isn't.

The phone is compatible. it does work in Endomondo as I mentioned. finds both hrm and cadence fine. its just not Strava letting me although in the options it looks like it should.
  • this is the reply i got from them in september when i asked them about it. before samsung announced renewed support for ant+

    Hello-

Thanks for your thoughts. There aren't any specific plans to support ANT+ at this point - but perhaps in the future...

    Thanks very much!
