Nosebleeds...

Anyone get them out on the bike (without crashing, that is)?
A couple of times last winter and already a couple of times since the weather turned colder this last week, my nose spontaneously starts bleeding quite profusely.
I've always been susceptible to them, ever since I got into a fight when I was a kid and got my nose busted quite badly, but usually there's something identifiable that starts them (usually sustained noseblowing with a cold, but I'm verging on TMI here).
Would appreciate any suggestions.

Is the gorilla tired yet?

usually caused by dryness, cold air, lack of humidity in the house, you end up with a dry nose, try petroleum jelly up your nose to prevent it drying outmy isetta is a 300cc bike0

I had one a few weeks back as it happens. It was quite chilly and I was putting in extra effort to keep warm so was breathing a bit harder than normal. Nose started bleeding and went on for a fair bit (30 minutes), although it slowed down to an occasional drip after a couple of minutes.
Only the first time it's happened to me on the bike, but it did happen quite a lot when I was a youngster.
If I have a really blocked nose, and I blow too hard to clear it it can trigger a nose bleed ... so if you're put too much into a snot rocket I guess the same could apply.0
