What took you to Seaford? My MiL lives there, so go down every now and then. Bit like God's waiting room but good walking to be had nearby (and I imagine good cycling, though I never have) and a couple of decentish pubs - The Wellington, that other one that does good pints of Harvey's Best...
And in another big coincidence, what should I have had after my dinner last night but...a single bottle of Proper Job. I'm not massively into IPAs but it was most enjoyable and yes, quite moreish - sadly, I just had the one bottle.0 -

Cracking read.
These Saisons seem to be quite the in thing at the moment - I'm a big fan of the style. Awaiting the name with interest.0 -

My parents live there. Welly is about the best pub there. And yes, the cycling is ace round there.0 -
Aha. Been meaning to take a bike down for ages but would require fitting some sort of rack to the car, which I haven't got round to yet.
BTW, did you ever visit the Catford Bridge Tavern, formerly run by Antic pubco but now shut down? I hear tell they have now taken over the old Conservative Club, on Catford Broadway. Will have to take a look. (I have an interest in all things Catford, having grown up there. A decent beer pub in the area is perhaps incongruous but very welcome).0 -
Yep. Was a big fan of the old CBT. Not made it to the Con Club yet, but will do so soon.0

Bath Ales Barnsey. Well I never. Not usually a huge fan of their beers, but this is a terrific pint.0

Lovely read as ever Kets. I'm (hopefully) moving to about 5 miles away from St Austell Brewery, so if you ever find yourself in the area, it would be rude not to pop in...
Hoping there's something from the Wooden Hand Brewery in Truro in there somewhere. I'm also a big fan of the St Ives Brewery too. They've only been going for a few years but make some really good ales.FCN 3 / 40 -

Ooops. Brewed by the guy who compiled the calendar this year.
*awkward*
Oh well. At least you know I'm being honest about it.0 -

And the beer was... Skinner's Heligan Honey. Not a huge fan of theirs, but this wasn't too bad.0

And the beer was... Towles' Fine Ales Ma Beese's Chocolate Stout. Not massively chocolatey, tbh.0
