Slower in winter

    Thank you ive been looking for an excuse of getting slower recently, i had put it down to entering into hibernation. (more food and drink).

    Now i can blame.

    Lights
    Innertubes
    Winter clothing
    Mudguards
    air density
    Cold air making my muscles less efficent.
    Road surfaces.

    you do actually have to ride to blame those things - you can't just sit at home and blame them ...

    I have been riding (just not as much). Thats why i bought mudguards!

    Yeah always drop 1-2mph in winter...nothing to worry about...

    I'm putting out the similar power as I was in the summer then but going 1-2 MPH slower. Another thing is when it's dark you ride the breaks down descents...I do anyway.

    Power tells the ultimate story...same power but less speed = environmental factors.
