If you fancy a bit of fun checkout a couple of online calculators courtesy of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
VO2 http://www.ntnu.edu/cerg/vo2max
HR http://www.ntnu.edu/cerg/hrmax
I tried them and it got my VO2max a bit low but very kindly told me that my "fitness age" was under 20
HR was absolutely correct, interval and resting HR both spot on.

If you want to be a strong rider you have to do strong things.
However if you train like a cart horse you'll race like one.0 -
Told me my HR max was supposed to be 192 (Actually 214) and 61 vo2 max.
What is a good vo2 max?0 -
Hmmm, for me VO2 max was high (came back 58, I think I'm about 50)
HR was a little low, Says my max is 188, I reached 190 on a short sharp hill going balls out yesterday...Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

I use the brianmac website quite a lot and found his calculator which uses running race times pretty accurate, it had my pbs represent 67ml/kg/min when I had just been tested at 65 the previous year. Not sure he has one for cycling times and guess wind etc would render it a bit meaningless.
