Turbo training

I finally succumbed to an hour on the turbo tonight, my first session of the winter. However, a combination of tunes by Neil Young, Jake Bugg and Sam Cooke on Spotify made it fly by :D

  • However you dress it up turbo work is still turbo work, I'm afraid a little bit of your soul died tonight :(

Spotify is your friend... I'm getting to like turbo training in a perverse, masochistic kind of way. No way I would have gone out today on another wild wet and windy day here in cornwall...

None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.
  • Its the garage/Sufferfest.....or the Sonos with some made up playlists..and just get it done!!

    You know it makes sense.

Think of the boredom as mind training.

The right soundtrack relieves the boredom, though. I went out this evening and wished I hadn't - I'd forgotten how dangerous it is when car headlights blind you on unlit roads, won't be doing that again
  • I go out for a blast pretty regularly in this weather, it is great fun for cyclocross with some bright lights! Joys :D

I do also turbo it up with the Sufferfest often too though.
