TK Maxx is worth a browse, if only because they get so many different brands in. I'm a shortarse but got some 32W 34L Penguin jeans for £20 and had them taken up in under an hour for a tenner.0

Crewe Clothing do some good jeans if you want a slightly more relaxed fit. Howies are good too, if pricey. Look out for their Warm 49ers for the winter, they're lined with brushed pj materialScience adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.

Big recommendation for Son of a Stag at the Trueman Brewery in the East End (of London).
They're denim specialists with a great selection both in terms of brands (Edwin, Momataro, Lee, etc) and types. Better still the staff (there's only a couple of them) are knowledgable and helpful. If you ask for assistance you can expect to be trying on 20 or more pairs till the fit is exactly right; then they've a vintage denim sewing machine on which they'll do alterations there and then.

Another vote for Nudie jeans - lovely fit and styling. Although my sister still hasn't forgiven me for the blue dye rubbing off onto her beige car-seat.0

+1 for Timberland. I use the outlet shop at Cheshire Oaks and usually get 2 for 1 offer.0 -
