Hmmm some fond memories rekindled in this thread.
The trouble is now I'm old I really like the "best of" albums best as they're just too convenient (or playlists are even better!)
This will probably take me about four hours to complete, and I will miss loads of other top albums going past unnoticed.

Some interesting albums mentioned by people who seem to have similar tastes to myself, yet I have never heard. I also keep thinking of albums I would include: todays is Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins.
