I just looked at the Met office forecast for London. Maximum gusts are forecast for 06:00 at 53mph.
That would barely make a weather forecast elsewhere. Man up.
Well it was enough to bring two trees down outside my house, one on our car :(

The damage is pretty minor, though, fortunately.

    Too down. One to go.

    Sympathies to those genuinely affected.

Ha! Shows what you know! I've just been to the shop and I saw 3 bins lying on their sides and the bus stop sign has blown off. Thankfully my family and I have survived the apocalypse (so far).

Crawls bleary eyed from nuclear bunker clutching peaches and petrol. I think we've survived the apocalypse guys... Was a tad breezy here overnight so a bit of an anti climax. Greenhouse, rabbit run and dustbins still in place. Garden nice and tidy. Yay!

LOL - just a wee bit windy here....

What we need is Michael Fish on the telly telling us there's not going to be a storm.

Exactly! A lab monkey infected with the zombie virus, is taking its morning stroll in the compound. The strong wing blows a single monkey tear over the wall, into town, straight into an unsuspecting civilian's Starbucks coffee. Boom! Zombie apocalypse.

So if we all avoid Starbucks, there's no problem.

    Let's tackle malaria next.

So far, 2 fatalities. However, I quickly looked up the road fatalities for 2012: 1754. Thats just under 5 a day. So if x thousand people did not travel to work then surely it offsets those potential 5 fatalities?

As I work from home, I wasn't bothered. Woke up this morning with the power off and the phone lines off! All sorted now. I missed the Monday morning team talk on the telephone (so disapointed about that). Since heard that one of my team mates was driving around trying to get a phone signal at 9.00am so they could take part(!)

Only if a tree fell on it.
