    Must say, I'm looking forward to that. I suspect it'll be much like my 3x9 if I stay in the middle cog, albeit with slightly more grams and an inch less ground clearance. Anyway, looking forwar to hearing.

    1x10 is good. The clincher for me is the magic thick/thin chainrings, I've binned the chain device off mine and the Works Components ring + clutch mech is doing a better job (rode down fort william wc route on my hardtail, chain didn't even come close to coming off, even while I was throwing myself off the edge of the trail into a tree :mrgreen: )

    The clutch mech is useful but I don't think it's doing the heavy lifting. And since hte thick/thin rings aren't that much more expensive than a standard ring it's become a total no-brainer.
