Have the week off, so no commute, but did have to clear up the bits of next door's fence that were spread across the garden, and put the Perspex glazing back in the greenhouse. Went for a short walk to our little local nature reserve this evening, and there a few trees down, with the sound of a chainsaw in the background.

    Epic!
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.
  • yes by commute time it was just a mild wind, living in and working in leafy suburbs there was a lot of leaves/twigs with odd branch and a few trees down. For work ended up driving to Bluewater where the traffic was terrible though we found our way though lanes around it.
  • I (wo)manned up, rode in and wondered what all the fuss was about.

Came back tonight via a different route and noticed that a very large tree had blown over and was lying roots upended just down the road from the house... gulp... perhaps it was windier than I realised!
