winter training camp (boys excuse for a jolly)

Just after some advice from people/groups that have done this before. We're in the process of organising one in late feb/early march, more than likely one of the spanish islands. Any advice would be appreciated before we go too far with this, ie best use a company or DIY, any stories / experiences good or bad or pointers would be appreciated. We're not elite races just very enthusiastic amateurs - ta

    a formal camp will cost you from £350 upwards pp per week - ok it ll be 1/2 board or BB
    We ve always rented an appt (approx 600 that sleeps 5 or 6 - and hired bikes - always go late March/april as the weather is /should be better - for Majorca, its a small plc and its not difficult to figure out routes.

    My advice would be to take some "girls" with you and avoid contributing to the stereotypical view that cycling is only for men (or "boys").
