Best type of fan for a turbo trainer?

Having just bought a turbo trainer and ended up sweating like pig after a 30 min session, can anyone recommend one sub £50? Or would i need to spend more? The only space I have for the turbo is on the bedroom, so there's not a great deal of space left. What's the best type, standing or floor?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I've got one of these. It is good enough (although not in a hot room)

50 quid? I thought Screwfix sold them for £30.
I would definitely wait a while as Screwfix often have sales; you may be able to pick up two for £60.
I find mine a bit underpowered at times - I have to put it on a table so it's closer to my body. This kind of defeats the object of buying a floor fan. Would definitely recommend getting two so as to get extra cooling.25% off your first MyProtein order: sign up via https://www.myprotein.com/referrals.lis ... With summer over they'll drop back to £30I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
i use both of the fans mentioned above while training on the turbo. it's still not sufficient for cooling!Coach to Michael Freiberg - Track World Champion (Omnium) 2011

when i was at canterbury uni they had a massive fan. it's a good few years ago now, but i seem to think it must have been as tall as me!Coach to Michael Freiberg - Track World Champion (Omnium) 2011

Ive a pedestal fan thats about level with my head when I'm on the turbo. I have it blowing from one side and helps keep the sweat off the bike.0

worth considering one of those cheap radio-controlled remote power switches. You might not want the fan on at max intensity when you first start but will when going full out.0
