It's nice to see big names riding in the UK. Sure things could improve, but in comparison with the past, it's pretty good.

Shame Wiggins can just sit on Monster man Stannards wheel all day so he can bring it back.

I hate how Quintana can just sit on Dowsett's wheel and then attack on a climb.

    Aye, what a lightweight.

Those Sky boys have done all the work on the front for 4 stages now, pulling back every break, they must be knackered. Why have Movistar or Garmin not attacked? they have 6 guys same as Sky. Are they just filling time in to the end of the season?

That was Tank, he's from your neck of the world so watch your back

I was stood right next to them so must have made it onto TV!

We had Luke Rowe, Russ Downing and Mrs Stannard there, Stannard stopped second time up to give her a kiss. Bernie was there too, RR missed her chance.

Movistar are targeting the KOM jersey instead by putting a man in the forlorn hope each day. That's proper heavyweight riding, forget the GC that's for losers and lightweights only.

Quintana looked amused on Caerphilly Mountain, he was probably wondering why thousands of people had come to watch them go up a molehill.

Maybe Sky have bored them all into submission?

How and where do you get back the amount of time lost in a 10 mile trial on UK parcour to a rider of Wiggins's calibre and Sky's collective team strength?

Movistar had it figured before the race begun. Hence Madrazo's breakaway bonanza.

They have only had 4 riders for a couple of days

Embarrassing if they fluff it. Ill timed mechanical or something.

Bored are they? Perhaps if they put some effort in instead of just sitting in the wheels they may surprise themselves and win something.

Perhaps if they had attacked from the bottom of the climbs, rather than waiting till half way up, the specialist climbers would have stayed away.

I'm confused now, Stannard was quite far behind first time up and then second time Bernie and another Sky rider stopped to hug a woman who had been introduced as Stannard's wife / GF so I thought he'd lost time but apparently he was in the front group. Must have been Hayman then - potential scandal at team Sky!

Hayman and Eisel were together coming over the top second time. 3rd or 4th group

It must have be difficult to get a proper introduction, half way up a hill full of strange people.
Lucky they weren't too pressed for time, again this year.
Didn't Geraint stop for a bit of a chin wag last year?

Must have made an arrangement with all those proper climbers to stop them attacking for that extra couple of hundred metres and taking chunks of time on the GC.

    It was John Terry.

Ah, the team classification. I'm surprised Movistar are so far down, normally Spanish teams can't contain themselves in contesting the one competition that no-one gives a tinker's cuss about.
