The description of the difference of the British riders to the WT is very interesting. Sometimes we do not appreciate the ridiculous talent of these guys as we benchmark them against each other.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Or if you look at stage two that wen’t over Honiston Pass, and Ciolek won. These are what people call sprinters and if any of these stages had been a British race that would have been the hilliest race that we’ve done! So that is the gulf if you like between the two – they aren’t one level up, they are two or three levels up, or more.0

12 sec gap from Tana to Wiggans at top of first climb0

I didn't know the Village People had reformed?0

The 3 of them were rather pacey.0 -
Not sure if Quintana just wanted to stretch things out or whether he thought he might get a couple more people with him to help. As it is they'll probably be pulled back before the second climb anyway.0
-
Climb 2 and this time Dan Martin goes with much more aggression than Tana's o the earlier ascent.0

Well, I know where my £5 is going for the Worlds.0

Pardilla is not that far off on GC0

Froome?0 -
I thought Dan was looking great, and then Nairo just pulled him back in so smoothly.
Lack of time gaps making it hard to tell what the lead 3 are working with.0 -
Just tuned in. I see the heavyweight Martin out the saddle solo going through ridiculous stacked crowds. That makes me happy.Contador is the Greatest0

Sprint.
Hmmm.
At least it was a small group and at least it wasn`t a WT rider.
Shame Wiggins can just sit on Monster man Stannards wheel all day so he can bring it back.Contador is the Greatest0 -
Holy cow, CQ Ranking is fast. Looked up the winner and they have his page already updated!0

My thoughts exactly0 -
Good to see some decent attacks on the hills, for a while anyway.
It would be nice to see Wiggins have a go,,,a lead on the basis of a well ridden 10 mile time trial, then just staying behind his team riders.....yawn!0 -

..and lets not forget that if Standard was TL then Wiggo would be capable of doing the same in return. You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0 -
I like sky but honestly, in their home race, a third rate chipped, surely the money they are on they can come up with something a bit more exciting than team dieselling and doing everyone over a 10tt!
It's not like ToB gc means anything when you have a tdf Jersey!
In other thoughts where did they get bennet? Looks like he should be out tarmaccing driveways (and I'm Irish!)0 -
