never, ever should a bike have different coloured main frame/swingarm, it just looks tacky and cheap. Last years looked far better.

Humm, that would be my one criticism, but I can get it to work

Pike at the front so black front and rear
Blue hubs and discs to play on the the linkage bolts
Reckon that would work

They use the blue bolts on all their bikes, did last year too, I quite like it cause I can get blue hope pro 2 evos to match

Transitions seem a little pricey in the UK for me. The TR250 is a great mini DH bike, the 450 a great DH bike and I have seen great reviews of the other bikes in their ranges but just not convinced that the prices are worth it.

I am sitting with my mates Mega TR in front of me and I just want to grab it and go for a ride, it looks purposeful an sturdy almost like a mini DH bike.

I know which one I'd go for although I'd probably de-badge the TR a little.

I dont mean to throw things up in the air here, but are you sure you need/want a FS Downhill Machine?

If your're new to the game - a long travel hardtail might be a good shout to help your technique etc.

well I've been riding for about 3 years and am riding a 100mm fs bike

I can confidently tackle rock gardens, drop off and jumps even on that bike.. I ride black graded trails and often catch people on far more expensive bikes and now ride some DH track runs

I just thought the covert would be the next step really.. slack, long and burly which should really help my confidence and in turn my speed..?

I also want an On One 456 or TransAM.. I love this idea of a solid slack hardtail but would get it to compliment the big bike and use it on the easier trails and as a fitness bike.. wanted to get the big machine first them a second hand on one or something
