Strava problems

Hi,
Every time I record a ride on strava then try to up load it I get the message that, "Strava needs a longer activity to upload and analyse". This is for rides of nearly an hour.
Anybody got any ideas? :?:

OK so lets get the obvious out of the way first. You are starting and ending the ride properly?0

Yep not doing anything different from what I have been doing previously. I press the button and the ride starts to be recorded.0

looks like strava is not picking up my location. Although GPS is on and google maps is able to pick up my location.0
