Any Stonking Road Bike Deals Spotted?

I need to get a road bike for "training" when I'm living in Amsterdam. I have absolutely no preconceptions about what I'm after. I'd love to get Di2 but I really can't justify it in Holland where, apart from wind, I could pretty much live with a single speed. I would however like at least Shimano 105 and I would prefer NOT to get SRAM. I need a 57-58 frame. Budget I suppose between £1000 - £3000 but, more than anything, I'm looking for a stonking bargain which there ought to be at this time of year.
Please would you keep your eyes open and give me a shout if you spot something.

Thanks. I can't justify Di2 in Holland. I'd rather spend the money on the frame and wheels.
That Cannondale looks interesting. There are so many bikes around that price point especially when you have no specific requirements.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -
Call me old-fashioned but the De Rosa below is tempting me a great deal - n+1 is OK and perfectly justifiable when this good value but I really can't buy another bike!

I'm sure I would miss it normally but Holland is so unbelievably flat that I won't miss it that much. I do have two conventionally-geared road bikes (one's (the Variado) my turbo bitch and one (the Cayo) lives in England) and I can live with normal gears. The premium on Di2 also seems to be higher than the upgrade kits cost. If I miss it too much, that's a route I can take. I'm actually more concerned about missing disc brakes but hoping the lack of hills will help me there too. Alternatively I could just get another Volagi Liscio but that seems profligate.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -

Quite! Ideally you want what you can't really get these days - a traditional five speed racer with no front mech. I'd get something old and steel and save a fortune for no functional loss. Also makes for something less superficially desirable in a place where bike theft is a huge business.Faster than a tent.......0 -

If spending your life riding into stupid headwind surely Aero is far higher up the agenda than DI2...If I know you, and I like you, you can borrow my bike box for £30 a week. PM for details.0

This will be my "training" ride specific bike so I won't be leaving it parked outside "coffee" shops
If I can get Di2 without compromising on other aspects of the bike too much then I won't say no as I love Di2 but it wouldn't get a fraction of the use that my current bike gets because here there's almost no such thing as "flat".ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -

I'm less keen on aluminium frames from a harshness POV - it's the one thing that puts me off the Canyon. Other things are great (I can select a standard 53/39 crank and 11-25 cassette (versus Compact & 11-28 as standard)) but I'd prefer carbon (or, I suppose, steel - though I've never ridden steel)ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -

Good point - I'll mail them. It would be nice to get something a bit different from my other bikes.
Yes - considered that. The Volagi shop is a little perplexing - will mail them too.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -

Hmmm - that's interesting. It might be. I think the Large on their sizing might be the right size. I'll check my settings from the Bike Whisperer. Thanks!ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -
