I'm going to write to Eurosport, CK is appalling and he's not getting any better.

    JUST SHUT UP CARLTON

Ha! Watching the ES feed with sound off. Much better!

ITV 4. At least the have the cadence of a commentator. It just kinda washes over you.

They're not more incorrect than Carlton, and that's being generous to ES.

    Great, thanks.

So Rolland's going to win the KOM?

I would still expect Quintana or Froome to take it.

50 points for the top of Semnoz and at 3 minutes or so this break won't stick, Quintana deserves it

Afternoon all. Just in from hat was supposed to be a 3hr ride but because the weather was so nice it turned into a 100miler to Largs and back for an ice cream.

I'm assuming I have missed nothing except Jensie proving that he is in fact Voldermort and he has aaccess to the Philosopher's Stone.

Big Jens attacked on the Heeely Brae alan whilst you were in at nardini's 8)

Ha Ha. Belgian waffles & ice cream at nardini bros by the ferry.

Got 4th for the Heeeely descent on Strava - missed out KOM by a bawhair because of cars at the bottom . Grrr!!!

    King of Mountains situation:

Rolland leads Froome by 15 and Quintana by 22, so Froome needs to come at worst 7th and Quintana 5th to pass Rolland (assuming he is not in the top ten himself).

    Points on the line: 50, 40, 32, 28, 24, 20, 16, 12, 8, 4

Ah, I thought the fault was Paul's there. I wouldn't have corrected it otherwise.

Anyway we're just east of Aix-Les-Bains right now.

Carlton not spotted that Anton's day is done as he's collected the mountain points and job done.

The people on that Selle Italia saddle advert have all been made to look really unattractive.

What's the woman doing wearing hiking boots?

I'm sure this has been mentioned earlier in the Tour but that Tacx advert does absolutely no favours for Vos - I didn't even realise it was a woman until the end the first time I watched it..!

Riblon and Rolland to form some kind of alliance to make sure one of them ends up in the polka dots. Riblon has been pretty quiet in the break and not going away for small points, so I reckon he has good legs again to have a go at taking this final climb.
