Don't think this has been posted before. Anyway a course starting next week that could be interesting to some of you.

    Looks interesting fot those with an interest...
    before I dive further.. whats the catch... I mean i can't see any mention of cost?

    There is no catch. Coursera courses are all free. EdX is another example of the same approach. The UK Universities have pretty much steered clear of the current offerings though I think Oxford is developing its own platform.

    http://futurelearn.com/ is the UK version of Coursera. Run by the OU, with courses from some decent UK unis.

    So it was the OU not Oxford that was putting their platform together. Will be interesting to see what they have to offer given their history. Wonder if they can do anything to differentiate themselves from those that already have a very big following.
