    Very much so, even for what sounds like a grim commute from Kingston to Feltham. I go through Bushy Park as Roger does and I often see people on bikes that take the road route because that's all they know. I have told a couple of them and they hadn't even considered that there were alternatives to the road.

    I think of it as going for a ride before work and a ride after work, which just happens to end/start at work.

    I reckon you can get a bit of tranquility just about anywhere you live.
