RadioShack Smurf Trek also seem to have dug out the fishnets.

If you think it's a bad look now wait until you see the hefty mamils of Surrey wearing them in sportives.

    My eyes! My eyes!

There's an elderly man with skin so wizened he looks like a raisin who likes to cycle around Amsterdam on an old Bianchi wearing nothing but a pair of luminous yellow speedos.

Yeah I know, triathlete, exactly what I always think too.

Do you reckon they'll have a special yellow version - like they did with Wiggo's skinsuit last year?

  • I'd spend a lot of money to find an equivalent non-team version available to the public...37 degrees in North Italy today.

Rapha do a super lightweight jersey that is probably similar. http://www.rapha.cc/super-lightweight-jersey-1-2/

I think part of it is that Froome is so skinny that he wears a small size to keep it tight on his arms.
I'm left handed, if that matters.

And this is why sport's bras are a wonderful thing.

Sorry to put a dampner on things fellas, but you get more of a Froome eyeful in that ensemble than you would if us ladies wore it.

On a more serious note - isn't this netting thing more about reducing the heat absorption with black materials.

Flip side of course - you get a fishnet suntan
Kind of a bit like Borat.
    Can I upgrade???

Astana have been wearing them as well, although not so 'Right Said Fred' in pale blue!

Probably from the same MOA factory.

Well that blows one marginal gain out of the water anyway

Bit better than their cold weather gear they wore in the giro, those blue leggings and arm warmers were awful, like a big blue onesie!

So, let me get this straight- these fish net tops are supposed to keep them cool.

So why aren't they wearing fish-net bottoms? Fish-net gloves? And fish-net socks? They could keep them up with little garters.

actually looking at it that is absolutely naff. Rapha. Style. Style Council! ?? Ditch the polar belt zip and bibs - if you are going to go radical do it properly! It might have looked odd with a mesh top only but at least it would have seen innovative - that just looks crap
