  • 40pts for the saddle bag
    10pts for spacers
    50pts for being a richardhead
    = 100pts

...although this goes up to 190pts (not being all cheery) when inadvertently encountering a sportive, road race, or other unexpectedly large group of cyclists. Ended up going the to opposite direction to what was a either a local charity ride or a mass suicide attempt by one of the villages yesterday. Gave up with the endless nodding after the first few groups as I'd rather be thought of as a grumpy sod than an overweight Chris Froome impersonator.

10 points. Could be 80 as I have carbon clinchers but rarely ever ride them these days.

    Not too bad.
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

Na, surely everybody gets at least 50 just for posting a score :)

Oh, hang on, you'd still get 50 and win so far, I'm confusing myself now :)

Not sure how Shimano on an Italian bike is any different to Campagnolo on a non-Italian bike, or Shimano on a non Japanese bike?

I move to have this criteria deleted from said points.

We can't just change the rules to suit you. They're a pointless set of arbitrary rules as they are without being personalised for each respondent. Anyway, I think they were set by a Cardinal and you don't want to mess with one of those.

    Oh, you harsh bloke, you!

Question is, does an Italian bike have to be made in Italy by Italians, or does it merely have to have been ordered from southeast Asia by someone who works for a company with a head office in Italy?

I know where you THINK you are going with this :D

Anyway as everyone seems so obsessed with keeping everything Italian on an Italian frame I assume you are in fact Italian - otherwise how on earth can you ride an Italian frame with Italian Group set....Hmmmm...Hmmmm
