Mayer could be useful today - I expect to see a few bike changes during the stage.

There's a time-check at 16.5 km at the end of the flat, and a second 4.9 km before the finish.

Rest of original post deleted as I'm receiving conflicting information about exact times of riders, possibly because of riders changing bikes at the 16.5 km time-check.
    Last info (without guarantee!) was:

    van Garderen (BMC)
    Costa (MOV) +0:11
    Frank (BMC) +0:23
    Pinot (FDJ) +0:28
    Mollema (BLA) +0:34
    Kreuziger (TST) +0:39

some of these bike changes are ropey - cant they send someone ahead with the bike, so they are not trying to pull up all the time and catch the cyclist?

I wonder if Costa can do enough to take two TdS GC wins in a row - will be impressive.

Oooh, Frank almost a minute down at the 22km check. Game over most likely.

A lot steeper than I expected.

Dan Martin 1.10 off from Kangert. I reckon Kangert is going to go far and will be picked up as leader sooner or later.
