Using Google isn't hard. Try playing yourself.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

I have to admit to choosing ice axe for this particular poll purely because of the irony of a wife beating capitalist meeting the same end as Trotsky.
Actually he got it with an ice PICK

sigh...yes that's correct...the pick being the long pointy part of an ice AXE....
Er... no. An ice PICK is entirely different than an ice AXE. An ice pick is a small tool, not unlike a screwdriver in shape, with a sharp point. It is - or was - used for breaking apart chunks of ice in the pre-refrigerator days. Because of its small size, it was a popular weapon for assassination and mob hits back in the 1930s and 40. It was a pretty simple, and bloodless, matter to give a guy the pointy end just below the occipital bulge and then saunter away.

THis is altogether different scenario than wandering around the streets with a bloody great ice axe in your hand.

I quite like the idea of a 'my ice axe thread'. I'd have to dig mine out of the back of the wardrobe. Sadly un(der)used nowadays.

There is an episode of ''Nigella can't cook but let's give her a cookery show anyway'' where she uses an ice pick. Wastes it on some ice.

Surely you don't need a tool to adjust a Saatchi...

The Saatchi is the tool...
