Crans Montana. 16ks at 6.5% with some steeper gradients in the latter half.

Often in this race, Soler won the last time it featured (before the unfortunate life changing crash the next day). Maybe the Movistar lads will be up for this one particularly. Could be an emotional stage if so. Last time that happened it was Kiri racing for Tondo (shiver inducing racing).

So are we going to start cutting stages just because it's raining now?

    What is this, cricket?

Does anyone know what the final km is like? On the stage profile it looks like it plateaus off or is that an exaggeration?

Trust the Swiss to do it well:
    http://www.tourdesuisse.ch/live/en/

Enrique Sanz (SPA/MOV), Christophe Riblon (FRA/ALM), Adrian Saez (SPA/EUS) und Johannes Fröhlinger (GER/ARG)
    With 2.10 on the peloton.

Riblon is a good climber and getting his exposure before the Tour.

    Afraid not.

Thibaut fancies this stage by the look of it.

He should have a good chance today. Rui Costa too.

I hope Meyer holds on though; I can't help but feel attached to ex-trackies.

Asked Inner Ring if he knew why the UK has no coverage at all for the whole race. He said he has seen tweets stating that Sky bought the rights but for reasons known to them aren't broadcasting it.

Dan Martin is racing and just covered an Euskaltel attack. Got the legs.

Pinot showing he had the legs just before also.

No one team really doing the damage. Meyer has two OGEs. Good numbers of Garmin riders. Saw two Skys near the front.

No super team to shut Martin down. Venga.

He may have taken it up too early though given this flatish sections. Will see.

A Movistar rider attacks. Hesjedal covers so fast that he nearly crashes into him and goes right past.

One of the Garmins should bury themselves right now to create a proper gap.
