I dunno if I could put stickers on wheels if they weren't the actual wheels though

Agree with this. Think they would have looked better without any stickers. And I'm not sure about the red bottle cage...

I think you could do with changing the seat post to one like Focuz has on his, it just doesn't go with the rest of the bike.

It doesn't look as bad in real life trust me  I don't think the lighting helps.

The wheels are exactly the same as yours! :D

Those are the AL30s with the decals removed? Wow. Really complement the bike that way.

Thanks, gave them a good scrub because they originally looked a tad dull. I put the small Vittoria decals on just to add a personal touch :)

That is very sexy. I'm going to check one out when next visiting the outlaws in Sheffield. What are Planet X like customer services wise?
Customer services are very good, and kept me up to date with my order from when it would be shipped, when it was made and the hour it was delivered. I also asked the main differences between the rt58 and 57 and they were quick and helpful to reply :D

Any update now you've had it a few months? How long from ordering to delivery? Think it comes with a carbon seat post now, will definitely be changing the wheels. Seems odd to me that they spec a light bike with comparatively heavy wheels (AL 30 C's) the AL 30 would have been better. Not into deep section carbon wheels and it would bump the price up too. Got some Archetypes to transfer over which will be a better option I think.

After a few months this has done 300 miles and still rides perfectly, changed the wheels, tyres and stem so far. My bike did come with the carbon seatpost but my ritchey one was 50g lighter aswell as better looking, the bike did also come with the Al30 B's as i ordered it earlier, but now only comes with the heavier option of the C's :L From ordering it took 2-3 days i think delivery wise.

Click on the link in my sig.
  • Does anyone know where the frame number is on this bike?

    I can't find it anywhere.

After much chasing of Planet X, I got this reply:
These frames never came from the manufacturer with a frame number. The only unique identifier we were ever able to locate on these frames is a sticker on the steerer tube of the fork, which when the bike is assembled is not at all easy to get at.
