and update as we go

NOTE: Discussion about the Frenchness or Brummieness or our boys will result in retorts about Belgians and Kenyans. Let's agree from the outset we aren't going there.....

Hey Frenchie. what about the Black and white pic of Kelly's Legs with the silver duct tape over His Adidas shoes when he was actually sponsored by Puma :D

I always thought it was to make the shoes be 'tighter' on his feet rather than hide the logo. On closer inspection, it does look like the tape would do little though as it doesnt even go all the way round. Interesting.

So many Brits racing for Ireland and even Irish riders racing for GB! 8) This is all much too funny, I suppose you can be Irish if you want to be - just ask 50% of Americans who think that are as Irish as Father Ted Crilly and yet have no idea that English is by far the main tongue or that technology beyond the industrial revolution has filtered through.

You can't complain if world championships and major classics are being won though... say is Cav Irish yet? How about Sparticus?

McCann always looked superb in TTs and could really shift. Similar in build and style to Wiggins.

Not correct. British people are "subjects" not "citizens" :D

Some highlights from 1987 Nissan Classic... pardon the chronically bad commentry... but the U2 soundtrack overlaying the Chris Lillywhite suffering is cool... Lots of incestuous banter between Roche and Fat Pat in the race directors car :-)

The Isle of Man was formed when Irish giant Finn McCool scooped up a clod of earth to throw at a rival Scottish giant. The clod of earth landed in the Irish Sea and became know as the Isle of Man, the hole left behind became Lough Neagh. Therefore Cavendish is undeniably Irish.

Deignan came 2nd in the Tour de Beauce GC. He was aggressive and instrumental in attacking with other GC numbers and piling on the pressure to Mancebo`s team who blew and although Mancebo came within 20 secs of bridging solo he eventually ended down 1.26 and lost his GC lead on the final day.
