Give it to councils and we'll have a a proliferation of CCTV cameras at junctions to catch this behaviour as the councils will view it as a new revenue stream. Which is no bad thing as the CCTV can then be used as evidence next time a cyclist gets left/right hooked by someone not looking (or the cyclist rides up the inside of a left turning vehicle and then complains when knocked off)FCN3: Titanium Qoroz.0

As long as they use the same CCTV to take action against RLJing then do it."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."

The people I've known who've tried to get CCTV footage from the council don't have any joy. The cameras on high streets now don't help the little people, so why would ASL ones help?
I find it really strange that people still believe that if only the authorities had just one more rule, just one more stick then this finally will be the moment they suddenly start making all our lives better. And, because this rule fits their life-style then they suspend all doubt too.0 -
