Power zone synaesthesia

Does anybody else suffer this? I can often taste strange flavours when riding in any zone above 3. Particularly 6 and 7

    I've not tasted blood in my mouth from an effort since starting racing again. This is one of my targets for this year. Short anaerobic efforts are not doing it as yet.

    I've had a taste of blood at the end of a TT a few times, normally means I am fatigued or tired, never had it during training though, regardless of zone.
