Yes, amazing how fast they grow. Both of my kids were easily the tallest in the class through primary school. Now the boy is in a larger secondary school there are a couple taller than him. But at 14 he's 6'2" and taller than me. Good news is I can ride his bike and it's really nice, down tube shifters and all.
Sorry for derailing the thread Daviesee, my recommendation involves drinking beer.

My best mate: 6'5", his wife 5'11"

    15 year old son 6'3"

Heh! my wife who is a perfectly average 5'4" can't hang her coat up at my sisters place since my sister and her husband are just over and under 6foot, and have coat hooks etc for normal sized folk!

There are quote a few 6' women in my family. In fact the vast majority of my family is over 6'. My grandad was 6'8" at his tallest (he shrank as old people do and was only about 6'5" when he passed away).

Little Ricky needs some therapy as he seems quite bitter. Perhaps if we all post our height, he'll feel better.

This is going OT in a big way.

eat in the restaurant at the Zetter. The chef, Bruno Loubet, is one of the best around.

    Thanks!
Weird thing though. You can pick a hotel with the best (for the sake of argument) food and drinks in town but you still want to go out. :?

well you're virtually next door to Look Mum No Hands so that's a must. Make sure your waxed moustache is in fine fettle beforehand. Also, you're a short wander away from St John on St. John's St. I'm not sure that particular outpost opens for breakfast but if you're a fan of meat, and specifically offal, it is fantastic.

If I remember correctly you have a Condor? Will you be popping in? It's a short walk from the Zetter.

I'll be with the wife so if I happen to be walking by.....
Same applies to Grays of Westminster......

But anything I see will cost double to keep her sweet.

    Update:-
Bistro Loubet is indeed very good. And the cocktails sublime. :P
Lunch was excellent so we went for breakfast. Expensive, huge potions and again excellent so in my view, worth the expense.
Popped into Condor. Nice for a visit and nice to see all the old frames but as I have everything I need and strangely enough, want*, it was just another bike shop.
I'll try to pop into Jerusalem tonight and get a coffee at LMNH in the morning.
