The article was low grade journalism. Walsh is usually better than that. I think he realises he let his standards slip hence the tweets. I don't doubt he has also personally apologised to Dowsett.

Not sure if that's cynical Iain, pot-stirring Iain or ironic Iain coming out to play.

I've been astounded by the torrent of ordure dumped on Walsh since Asylum inmates broke containment and occupied Twitter. Sad to see the same cr@p here. But hey ho :P

He does sound like a PR man rather than a journalist at the moment.

That's cos Walsh has been saying favourable things about Brad Wiggins. She's hating it.

Just wait till Fenton and Mrs Fenton read what Rigo Uran had to say at his presser:

Seems that Fenton's team mates didnt approve of his Tour shenanigans....

“I don’t know what will happen, but [Sergio] Henao and I are different than Froome. We always work for the team and we’ve never had any problems with the team,” Urán said. “We are not like Froome. I came here with the idea of helping the squad, whatever the goals may be. We shall see. We have to take it day by day.”

I can just picture the shy, introverted Chris in the couch watching highlights of the Giro while Mouna Michelle, on twatter, erupts.

Mi.. Mich.. Michel.. Michelle.. Michelle, don't mentio... Oh, dear..

Interesting report - guess we will see more over the next few days, good to see that Brad is saying lets see how it goes
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

That Article made the Inquisition one of my daily must-visit sites.

Was also a good article on Rigo in 'procycling' last year.

So, has there been any backlash following these comments yet?

Its such a great site. Yeah, that was a good article in Procycling too.

Not heard of any backlash but rumour is that Froome-cat's hidden her phone and laptop

Yeah the Inquisition is great and because of it I now have an obsession with Colombia and Colombians. I even used to buy Bocadillo online for my rides until I discovered a Colombian chap on the market who sell's it way cheaper and he now refers to me as 'The Cyclist' which is kinda cool...

I would laugh if i wasn't so angry, the twatterati just astound me with their stupidity. Digger_forum and Festinagirl are the usual culprits and the fun of watching them make idiots of themselves has now passed. Seems you can have too many sweets after all. Watching UCI_Underpants implode was very good though, just wish the same fate would befall a few more.
