Not sure it's sub 7Kg but it's probs not much over.
that's will cost a lot of money to get it under 7kg...7.5 won't be too hard. i think the frame itself weighs around 1.2-1.3kg without fork which is easily another 450-500g.

my caad8 is around 7.7kg has the same crank as yours but with force shifters and mechs and slightly heavier wheels @ 2.3kg with tyres
    Road - Cannondale CAAD 8 - 7.8kg
    Road - Chinese Carbon Diablo - 6.4kg

Seriously nice bike that - always regretted selling my old 'Dale: to me there is just something about them that is utterly cool.

    Chapeau that man.

  • Lovely Bike

I'm about to build one up on the same frame but going to try to continue the black and silver theme with silver headset, skewers, maybe silver stem (not sure about that yet)

What weight is it at the moment?

    Cheers

Ta! With the H Plus Son wheels, probably in the region of 7.7kg
    It feels light anyway!
The aluminium finish does make for a nice look.
Handles nicely when racing but no extra mph I'm afraid

Coriolis effect... when I started off, they were dead on ;-)
  • I'm still undecided on buying another caad10, and these really do look good in the flesh. Nice with the pave tyres as well.

That's lovely - really, really nice.

Always had a soft spot for 'Dales - I think they look lovely and are always really nicely made. Always regretted selling my old lime green CAAD 4 - one of the nicest bikes I've ever ridden: light, stiff, fast, looked ridiculously cool.
