Have you seen "your" bike out and about?

Considering there are so many manufacturers, turning out so many models, and changinging them year in year out, combined with the fact that most bikes probably do very few miles in their lives, it's amazing we ever see any of the same bikes at all.
Also, bikes aren't usually that easy to identify from a distance. They're pretty much all the same basic shape.0 -
I'd say I've noticed as many Carerra TdFs as any other specific bike.
My mountain bike I see loads every time I go to Grizedale or Whinlatter. But that's because its their standard hire bike and I got it cheap from there.0 -
I drive a Ford Focus.“Faster, Faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.” Hunter S Thompson0

I was at a sportive on Sunday and happily saw no one else with a Rose bike. Saying that the only Rose bike I have seen in the flesh is my own, but they pop up in the "your road bikes" section of BR occasionally.Rose Carbon Pro SL 4400
Cannondale Caad40 -
De Rosa R838 here - never seen another on the road but I am sure they are out there cos of they way they flew out of the bike shop - just never seen another one in a year and half of ownership - Good0
-
I see a lot of Enigma Echoes around these parts and ironically not many CAAD10's. I used to own an Argon 18 E112 and it was two years before I seen another one, actually another 3 in the same race.“Training is like fighting with a gorilla. You don’t stop when you’re tired. You stop when the gorilla is tired.”0

Was that the HOKH hospice sportive, if so I saw You on the Rose at the start, I was on the Ribble R872 (Stealth) which surprisngly I have yet to see another one on the road as well.
The winter bike is a a Orbea Aqua again yet to see another one.
The commuter is a Felt Curbside and the only other one I have seen went past me in London whilst I repairing the one and only puncture I have had so far!!!!!!!!0 -
I see millions of Boris Bikes around, those things must be so good to be so common.Scott Speedster S20 Roadie for Speed
Specialized Hardrock MTB for Lumps
Specialized Langster SS for Ease
Cinelli Mash Bolt Fixed for Pain

Surprisingly haven't seen any Cannondales about. Perhaps they're unpopular round these parts.
Loads of Specialized of varying descriptions, plus Trek, the odd Giant & Boardman.
The Sky Pro Team fan boys and girls seem to train quite a bit near to where I live, judging by the amount of Sky Pro Team kit I see on my cycling adventures. Not having a go, just an observation.0 -
i ride an old giant speeder lite (approx 21 y.o) with shimano exage groupset, down tube shifters and age related patina.
i've never seen another one on my travels and prefer the look and feel of it compared to the new road bikes around that i have tried and tested.0 -
My neighbour just purchase my bike - a Tifosi, so i see it a lot.0
-
Saw one Merkx 3 on my second ride out. After that nothing ........ might be a different story in Belgium though!
Not seen anyone in a team Molteni kit either ........ !

I've been eyeing that Molteni jersey up on Prendas. Very smart.0
-
I have a Colnago Master X Light, A Llewellyn Custodian and a Van Werkhoven (fixie), never seen any one riding the same bike as me.0

Have three Orbeas (road, MTB and hybrid) but haven't seen another one anywhere.
No Tern Verge P18s either.
Were quite a few Wester Ross frames (well 4 including mine) regularly turning up at events back in my day. Ended up owning two of them.
Haven't seen any Diamondback MTBs like the two I've got either.0 -
Lets see, I have an allez, so see that everywhere, but was quite happy when my lass confused a Tarmac for my bike
I have a voodoo hoodoo, so see that at any trail in the uk.
My lass has a specialized myka, also very common
I see it as being good popular bikes, it's the little touches that separate us from the pack0 -
There was one other Mongoose Fireball owner near me nearly a decade ago, now the bits from that have been adopted by the Trek 4500, of which there is a similar 4900 model a guy at work rides in now & again.
Haven't seen another Charge bike at all though, nor a peugeot 525 but, there probably are other Scott Scales about0 -
I have a lowly Cube Peloton and I havent seen anyone else on one! Infact I have only seen one other Cube and that was an Agree GTC!
The most common bikes I see are Trek, Specialized and Giant!0 -
I have the molten I jersey and about 4 other prendas jerseys. They seem to fit well and rarely see anybody else wearing them. Never seen a look 595 at all but did see a German chap on the top of a mountain in France on another look without the lugged frame.0
-
See quite a few older versions of my BMC out there but none of the 2012 version in the "works" colours....0
-
Not seen any of my 3 out there yet. Suprising as I have a Spesh Roubaix Comp in there too. I have modified all of mine quite a bit & my Canyon was just a frame with bits built onto it, so all of mine are fairly unique in some way. I have seen a few Bianchi Via Nirone C2C about, but not in my lipstick red frame colour! Don't even see any bikes that closely resemble mine at Sportives, which is suprising really!0
-
I don't see many Carrera's out for some reason. Must be a very exclusive brand!0
