    Yes.
The pen like battery is inserted into a finned rubber 'item, about 2" long. When inserted into the aero seat post, the fins deform and grip the inner surface.

Cannot find a bloody image to show this!

Looks like that's the part, Rick.
The rubber fins, just deform to fit the aero seat post and it stays put. ;)

If you need to ask, it's likely you can't afford one!

If I were to hazard a guess, without reading the whole thread, I'd say somewhere between £8-10k. If I had that kind of money just lying around gathering dust, I'd buy one. Fabulous looking bike! :D

I'll probably never have a bike that expensive :p Lottery win please ;)

On a wee bimble over to Ballater, I came across this... Never seen anything like it, just had to stop for a photo.

Mine's the 10 speed Dura Ace Di2. No seatpost battery option. I had to special order the McLaren Venge aero battery mount under the BB. Damn thing cost me $200! I'm using Zipp Service Course CX tape. Very grippy n comfy but gets really chewed up after just a coupla weeks. I'm using the Fizik Ultralight 2mm tape on the Dogma now. I like the classic perforated leather look. Might try that on the Venge next.

Where did you get the McLaren Venge aero battery mount as I have been thinking of upgrading my S-Works 7900 Venge to DI2 but don't want the battery on the bottel cages.

After seeing your bike had to order the Zipp bars. Love them. Thanks for posting your bike.

    Very nice
    Love the wheels, too.
    Glad you like the bars.

    those bars are slick 8)

but, renders mounting aero bars impossible, no? I just can't go without them anymore. Automatic tendency to lie down when I'm on my bike. :) (venge owner too btw)
