YOTMV - your oven times may vary
probably wise to cook for 20 minutes as usual and check, see if it is golden brown.
Ovens, like everything else here run at a slower rate!
This recipe already has a 'good' balance of fat protein and carbs, you could add more fibre perhaps, but doesn't need added saturated fats, chemical enhancement leftover pork 'parts' that are squeezed together with some flavorings and preservatives thrown in, so leave out the swine.

Red Onion

Made this one today
2 eggs
50g butter
150g grated cheese
150g porridge oats
mix the ingredients and press into a greased 8 inch/20cm tin. Then bake for about 30 to 40 minutes at 180C/Gas 4 until golden brown.
Really think it needs some onion and herbs (probably sage) otherwise great texture, tastes a bit like cheese straws.
I used cured goats cheese, but I imagine vintage cheddar would be great too.
Total of 94 grams of slow release carbs, further slowed by all that fat. Suitable for diabetics. 288mg of Cholesterol, worriers should avoid. 79g of fat.my isetta is a 300cc bike0 -

Apple and Bacon
200g salted butter
160g soft brown sugar
4 tbs golden syrup
1 pack rindless back bacon chopped
1 large granny smiths apple (peeled cored and chopped
500g oats
1tsb ground cinnamon
Melt the butter in a large pan.
Add the chopped apple and bacon (sizzle till the apple is soft).
Add the sugar and heat gently whilst stirring until melted and a dark brown syrupy consistency is achieved.
Stir in the golden syrup and cinnamon
Take off the heat and stir in the oats a small amount at a time.
Empty into a large brownie tin and press down.
Place in the oven at 170 for about 20 mins.
Cool in the tin and then chop into bars or bite size squares.
Not one *I* can recommend, being a weirdo veggie and all
I was going to suggest that it was a MTB recipe - but then I saw the apple

14,000 calories of flapjacks requires ;
A whole box of Porridge Oats
A whole tin of Golden Syrup
A 500g bag of brown sugar
750g (3 slabs) of butter
Melt and mix the lot and add cranberries and chopped pecans. Cut into slices when cooled and deep freeze and they come out nicer than they go in. Just make sure you wrap well in clingfilm as it keeps them from drying out when frozen.
