Just wondering has anyone used the cyclo-core system for training and if so how do you find it?
I've just come across it and was thinking something like this will give me more structured training.
What other options are there out there that people have found good as I am only starting to research this?
Also considering trainer road after reading the long post here.

what are you trying to achieve? what is your goal(s)? have you considered coaching? there's a few coaches on this board (including us - RST Sport), and many coaches sell coaching as well as training plans. Coaching or training plans will be more geared towards your goals than something as broad as a DVD.

I'm looking at upping my pace and endurance ahead of tackling a number of sportives this summer. I don't see myself getting into any racing and may join a club at some stage.
At the minute I am doing solo rides at the weekend between 60-80 km at an average of 27-30 km/h and trying to do a couple of sessions on the turbo during the week. I would especially like to make more effective use of these rather than just cranking the wheels!0 -

in all honesty i have no idea what the cyclo core programme is like (or anything similar) but, by definition of it's product type it'd have to be a broad based system to cover a multitude of different riders and fitness. this may (or may not) be what you're looking for.
On the other hand, we provide remote and one-to-one coaching that is built specifically around your goals, and lifestyle, or training plans which are designed for specific types of cycling events that are tailored to your physiology. The coaching we provide is for anyone - not just racers - at one end of the scale we've worked with people who needed to lose a lot of weight and at the other end of the scale we work with world class athletes.
we build our coaching to make effective use of _your_ time. we've worked with people who've been time limited to 5 hrs a week, and those who have more than 30 hours a week of training time. we'd be delighted to help you, just give me a shout on ric@rstsport.com

TBF you probably don't need a coach to achieve this. There is enough info on the internet to research.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
I have a 140km sportive in mid may followed by a 125km the following weekend with a plan for a couple more over the summer.

there's lots of info available on the net. the difficulty is knowing what is good, bad or indifferent, and being able to be objective about yourself and what to do.
