    Fair enough.... but a foam roller worked for me to ease my IB's and eradicate knee pain on longer rides / runs.

    It's not the rolling of the IT band per se, its the rolling of the muscles so they don't get tight around it, from what I understand, particularly the quads

    As above.. foam roller and a bike fit sorted mine. My cleats were also in the wrong positio. .
