Nice easy 93 miler with 7,600ft of climbing today. I was with some slower people so gave me a chance to cane the climbs and then head down them again to tow my peeps to the top. Puts me at 1,190 miles for this month which is decent considering the weather.

    Gotta love the Bwlch :)

A good 17 miles round the back lanes in west yorkshire today for me - similar amazing scene on the minor country roads across the tops of the moors - snowploughs cleared enough space for a single car to get through, leaving roads now mostly dry and slush-free but with 6 - 10 ft high walls of snow piled up on each side, like riding along some stage of the Swedish rally, quite awesome in the morning sun, just enough to take most of the chill off. 2 Strava PB's into the bargain and a couple of new roads explored.

A steady 28 miles around Market Bosworth, Kirby Mallory and Nuneaton. Blinkin feet were cold though.

80 miles today, albeit, 55 of those were between Brighton and Portsmouth so were flatter than a pancake. 2500ft of climbing in the first 25 miles though. Follows up form Fridays 65 miles. Both rides fully kitted out in practise for doing my JOGLE at the end of May.

Hi all I said I'd upload some more pics if we came across any worth taking. Today's ride took us up towards Kilnsey in the dales and then back through Burnsall. To get there we went along a back lane which we assumed was fine until we got half way along and was met with the below. The walls here are farmers fields so there probably about 5ft high... So not only did we get a great ride in but also a walk as well. Could of had better footwear though... 65 miles with 3500ft climbing today. Very cold but very enjoyable ..... Enjoy.

Some great pictures there. I'd planned to do 68 miles today but went slightly off course so it ended up being 48. In fairness I was going to add a few extra miles in but I was extremely cold on my thighs to the point of it not being enjoyable. Need some better leg warmers / tights. Had to take it very slowly in parts as the snow as covering the road. Would not have been a place to have an accident, no-one for mile and very cold!

Here is my ride, as you can see quite a lot of climbing: http://app.strava.com/activities/46773235

Did what's called the little Switzerland ride today and I was mega unprepared for what was in store for me
I'm a heavy rider so 5000 ft of climbing took its toll on me
All roads were clear but strines was a little tight in places but the cars were well behaved luckily. Here is a pic of a couple of the bikes in the party with maybe 3ft of drifts but there were places 6-7ft still up there

I can do the miles so not a problem but the climbs just kept coming and coming

Well done though, strines moor is a killer no matter what u weigh. The less u Wei the quicker you go but it still hurts, I'm sure anyone here that's ridden over there I'm sure will agree the 25% last climb or whatever it is is pretty tough....

There are great climbs around saddle worth. The road that goes from delph over towards Huddersfield is a great climb. It would be like an alpine climb with the current conditions....

Not done that yet, did Denshaw to Suicide Bridge the other year and back round past Blackstone edge, ruined me, wasnt ready for that.
