Shimano M485 brake levers

Can the reach be adjusted on these? I've just bought a bike for my girlfriend and I can't actually reach the levers, they're way too far from the handlebars. And no. I'm not a dwarf :lol:

    Have you looked in the manual?

    No reach adjust mentioned in the manual or shown on the parts breakdown.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    On Shimanos there is usally an allen head screw inside the lever pivot, this is the reach adjuster. Never worked on the 485 but I know they are on all Shimanos I have ever worked on.

    Perfect. Thank you. I'm now no longer scared I'll stab someone if I ride into them (that and I can reach the levers to stop. Always a bonus :lol: )
