Sagan will have to become really, really, really good to get on a par or better the boy from County Waterford. As in multiple GT points jersey winning and Classics smashing good. I know he's still young but I don't see that in him.
Kelly already rates Sagan higher than himself so I'll take the word of the great man over yours.

Kelly is a very modest man - when Sagan wins a GT, multiple points jerseys at a GT and many classics then I may ascribe to your viewpoint.

Sagan is an all rounder not a rocket like Cavendish. Sagan is extremely strong over distance and doesnt need to hide in the wheel to win a race/stage. Cavendish is a one trick pony albeit a massively fast one trick pony. Bad comparison this.

I agree. Cav has to be badysit over the hills and actually be protected over the long haul. I am a big fan of Cav although I do like Sagan, but its Cav all the way, but you have to face the reality that Sagan is more of an allrounder than Cav.

I know it is labouring the post, but how many GTs did Supermario actually finish?
