Centaur Ultratorque should be fine to take off - reverse of this:

Modern Centaur is Powertorque - but 2009 to 2011 was UT.

I have Centaur 10speed on my winter bike and it has the multiple up and own on the rear mech and the front is adjustable, I have Athena11 on my race bike, if you have it set up correctly you don't really need the trim on the front mech. I will upgrade to Chorus in due course if it's better than Athena then it must be excellent.

Hmm I've got power toque then, I can see the whole way through my cranks, bummer. Tips for removing them?

So, there's a hex-bolt on the non-drive side? to confirm, it should have power-torque or ultra-torque written around the 'hole' on the crank arms.

Do you have carbon or alloy crank arms?

I honestly can't recall, I'm out of the town at the moment, but I think it is just hollow all the way through. I.e. The crank puller type, going to do some googling
