    He's had a feud with the German Cycling federation for ages and refuses to represent Germany in any way. It's one of those grudges that is so old and deep that he's probably forgotten what it was about in the first place. I certainly have.

    Now you mentioned it, aren't there a few riders that refuse to ride for Germany at WC/Olympics?

    I know Haussler defected but that was a slightly different thing wasn't it?

    With speculation sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

    I really wouldn't be surprised if RS left at year end and as soon as I saw Becca's comments I assumed he was lying to reassure the team so they don't all jump ship or underperform. I just don't like newspapers reporting things as fact.
