    I recently read an article that suggested Lance Armstrong made a Sissy sport appeal to real men. Judging by the crap I read on here every day I would say the sport is still awash with Sissys.
    ‘do I look good in a pink crop top’ ........ jesus wept ....... what kind of a sport am I getting into here?

    Nowt wrong with wearing pink chap! ... But ... I thought (as a recent newcomer to all of this) that I'd go and buy some shorts, gloves, tops and a rain jacket and that would be that.

    I've spent more time fussing over the coordination of kit/colours than a little! I spend far too much time looking at more new kit (even though I don't need it) and google whichever area I'm working in on a particular day so I can go and have a nosey.

    It's all too much .... :oops:

    ive bought from them and im very pleased with the quality of the goods ive received. they have washed well and havent faded a bit.

    as cycling is full overpriced clothing id buy these replicas every time. i cant see how the likes of rapha can charge over a £100 for a short sleeved sky jersey. i think ill buy one from monton for £20!

    lol i wouldn't say the sport but yes there is a few questionable users on here. I only joined 3 days ago and am not sure I want to continue now. I feel when asking a question caution should be taken as some on here are more interested in slanging or making you look the fool than they are in helping others.

    It's a shame because some users are really good and have interesting things to say. I hope it gets better if not im buying a pink jersey in silence :mrgreen:

    Try to ignore the bellends, and just overlook any forum lynching. Mostly, this forum (like most others) is full of great people. The only issue is that typically, full on bellend posters post a lot more than the average user - they have nowt better to do with their lives than put others down on the web to make themselves feel better.

    OP - yeah did not think Giro at all when saw the jersey and even had a little "WTF" when saw your reason for caution because of that! :D

    Also - that T-mobile top looks pretty cool. Man might have to get one!

    yellow green polka dot or rainbow, norwegian or swiss champion, vuelta winner - i couldnt care less, if i saw one for thirty quid id pick it up and wear it, so some people might think that I think i am a KOM, nah not at all, i picked up a bargain in an expensive hobby, those that think you think you are a kom for wearing the polka top very much need to live in the real world, perhaps when i was eleven i might have had that thought process, at 38 i just want the damage to my wallet minimised

    If you look down your nose at what another cyclist is wearing be it a yellow jersey, SKY jersey etc then you def fall in to the pr*ck catagory...
