Regardless of how my legs look, typical fair Scot here, I hate my legs in cycling shorts when hairy.
I plucked up the courage to shave, well trim mine last week as I have this very issue, I am very hairy and personally think it looks awful in cycling shorts with hair sprouting everywhere. Got the trimmer out and spent 20 mins in the bath mowing the lawn. There was more hair in the bath from my legs than most people leave on the floor after a haircut!
My wife likes the look and I have pretty toned legs, not massive or anything but I think it looks miles better, not even fully shaven them and its already an improvement. At least now with Summer round the corner I can get a nice even tan on my legs too!Scott Speedster S20 Roadie for Speed

Platzen is a German verb meaning "to explode, burst". A fitting name for the bodybuilder mentioned here.0

I think the usual conclusion to these debates is that yes, shaved legs just look better in lycra. If you can be arsed, do it. If you can't be arsed, don't worry about it. I did mine last year but could n't be bothered to stay on top of the growth.0

shaved legs look a lot better but more important they make you feel like a proper cyclist0
