The climbs in/out of Cheddar (depending on your direction) are quite something. I remembered thinking so when I drove them a few months ago.

Yes, it was my first time riding over there, some great climbs and descents.

I have got to make it out in this weather. Once I'm out it is fine, it is just the act of getting going that is the problem. Oh well, hopefully soon!

Today I finished work early and thought i'd extend my commute home.

Having sunshine but no warmth which quickly turned to dark overcast skies followed by snow blizzards for a few minutes before returning to sunshine. The only consistent factors was the freezing strong wind. Oh and I ordered some bib shorts last night with the hope/expectation that warmish weather will be here soon. :roll:

I bought half price thermal bib tights on sunday hoping to trigger warmer weather. It didn't work

(On the plus side they are so much nicer than bib shorts with running tights over the top- surprisingly toasty on the commute this morning)

Commute this morning was strangely enjoyable - there were a few flurries of snow but the sun was mostly out in the West country. Still nuggets freezing though :shock:

Hard work here in Cornwall but got two and a half hours. Cold windy and slow but strangely enjoyable
