Hi all,
I can get a Heart Rate Monitor for €20, it reads out on a watch and measures your heart rate with a band around your chest.
Speed measurement wise, I've a basic speedometer so I was wondering if I would be better buying the HRM or saving the money and buying a better computer altogether that would have HRM and cadence sensors on it.
Thanks

I used to have an even cheaper HR monitor (which is now broken) and survived with that and my cycle computer.
However, these days I use my new Garmin watch for HR, GPS etc and still use the cycle computer for cadence and speed whilst on the move. If I had spare cash I would probably buy a Garmin cadence sensor too so I could upload RPM along with the HR etc. Purely for looking back on and comparing rides, sessions etc.
With the latest Garmins just out I'd expect some of their older products to come down in price soon (hoping)!0 -
