Kittel.
Super cool. Waited for the noobs to go first. Brutal headwind....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -
Wow... that was some lung-busting sprint :-) No wonder Kittel looks like he is seeing stars**************************************************

Good sprint that. Last few Ks were raced in treacle.0

Nice sprinting. What happened to Renshaw, again! Up in the mix but then not making the moves?!0

People keep asking about Renshaw - not sure why, he was a great Cavendish lead-out man. He's a second rate sprinter.0 -
True, LL. So...next year...return to lead out duties?0
-
I only mentioned because he really fluffed it yesterday and seemed well positioned today but then disappears - not even top 10.
But for Kittel, this is a second rate sprinters field. He could/should be getting podiums from the positions he's been in on both stages.0 -
Renshaw can't fight for position at all. Whenever it gets a bit fast and dangerous he's out. Won't win many sprints like that.0
-
Sprinters need to make squllions of split-second decisions. Cav's a master at it. Renshaw...not so much...0

First PTP points this season. Finally off the mark. Come on Garmin/Euskatel etc - if I can do it....http://www.georgesfoundation.org

Horrendous face plant for Bouhanni and a strong man's finish for Kittel. I can't remember pro cyclists visibly struggling into a headwind as much as that for some time.0

April is not that far away is it. Won't win anything next month.
...Which probably means he'll win it all..0 -
Bad crash for Nacer.
Though you have to see the irony of him quitting boxing to become a cyclist only for it to end with him knocking his teeth out...!2011 Trek Madone 3.1c

Seems a bit of shame that the quality of riders are down a bit this year. Every winner since Jacques Anquetil has been a quality rider but this year may be different. Not sure whether the big bucks of Oman has stolen this race's thunder. Bit sad really.

Doesn't sound good.
Shame how we never seem to get a classics season when all the main protagonists are in top form."I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -

"Nacer souffre de deux fractures dentaires, d'une lèvre ouverte qui a nécessité huit points de suture, détaille le médecin de la FDJ Gérard Guillaume. Les radios n'ont pas révélé de fractures, ni même une fêlure d'une côte comme nous le craignions en début d'après-midi. Il sera de retour sur son vélo en fin de semaine."
