For Sky lovers Boswell is writing about this race:

Easy stage but depends on the racers.
60% chance of rain, 26 km/h ESE head/crosswind, narrow roads and a 4% uphill finish (see the last 5 km profile, right) should make Stage 2 a classic Paris-Nice stage.

Do yourselves a favour and don't view the image of Seeldraeyers leg literally talking for him.

Apparently because the riders aren't happy.

According to our correspondent, the riders aren't happy of the lenght of the today's stage. That's why they're riding slowly0 -

Tks for the info. I was going to say the only time I remember them going this slowly were protest stages. 200km of pan flat racing early season should be good training for these professionals - I wonder who started this discontent.Contador is the Greatest0

@eurohoody said earlier there was a strong headwind0
-
While admitting the break had very slim chances to go all the way, AG2R team director Vincent Lavenu told http://www.letour.fr that Maxime Bouet had a point to make after puncturing in the finale of stage 1: "There was headwind all day. That's why we have been riding so slow. In the same time, the sprinters have a strong interest in this stage while the favorites cannot afford to let De Gendt go as he could be a threat for the GC. The only chance for Maxime is for the Vacansoleil to really go for it and to try something in the finale. He is very keen after losing his illusions yesterday when he punctured with 10 kms to go."Contador is the Greatest0

The comments on the live chat on the Paris-Nice website are (occasionally) interesting - they said the same about the headwind.

All together, 35km to go. Boonen setting the pace.
According to Cnews:
Incidentally, part of Sky's rationale for sending its classics team to train in the seclusion of Mount Teide rather than ride Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico was precisely to avoid stages like today, which has been run off at a considerably slower pace than they feel to be conducive to preparing for the classics.Contador is the Greatest0 -
