Hi
Any suggestions for a cap/hat to wear under a mtb/road helmet, without a peak which would offer some thermal properties and possibly waterproof ?
Seen a few but there weren't any reviews
Cheers

Have me one of these - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-windtex-skull-cap/
Is very good at dealing with the cold, its not waterproof but I've worn mine in rain and just got on with it. Think they do a cheaper one without the front wind panel.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0 -
if it was waterproof it would get very sweaty and uncomfortable... I use a buff and I also have a thick headband that does the trick
alternatively look in the road bike kit for skull caps without peak"I get paid to make other people suffer on my wheel, how good is that"

I use one of the many free beanies that came with the bike mags or a buff type tube, work very well at keeping the chill off, a waterproof one would be hellish sweaty!?Timmo.

Buff for me. Turn it inside out, twist it in middle, pull right way out, voila, cosy head warmer.Voodoo Hoodoo0

I use a balaclava I got from millets for a few quid, keeps me warm and handy for the odd bank job.......0
